Wood 2

These woods are spectacular because their grain pattern is complex and beautiful. Burls having the grain running in circles, grains running at angles, exotic woods with unique grain patterns and dyed woods all make up these woods.

Most of these woods are stabilized. Stabilization is a process by which plastic is forced under pressure into the cells of the wood. The beauty of the wood is retained while the wood becomes resistant to water, oils and most solvents. Dyes are sometimes used in the process giving an enhanced color to the wood.

Have a favorite wood from your past, I'll bet I can make a pen of it.

These woods will add $5.00 to the cost of a pen or pencil.

Please note that wood colors and patterns are approximate
and will vary from one piece to the next.
