Peppermills add a wonderful touch of panache to a dinner setting. They can be short or tall, plain or fancy, pepper or salt. The more traditional type has a knob on top to adjust the coarseness. Prices start at $30 depending on the height and type of wood chosen.

The following peppermills are 10” tall and created by using segmented blocks of wood. Each one has over 150 individual segments. It takes about 7 hours to create one of these peppermills. The one on the left is African Zebrawood with a Padauk collar. The lighthouse in the middle is Birdseye maple with African Wenge accents. The one on the right is Purpleheart and Yellowheart. Prices for these are $100.



This peppermill is in the shape of a wine bottle. It has a wine label laser engraved on the side. It could be your label or a generic French winery. These peppermills are usually about 12" high and cost around $65 depending on the wood chosen.
A new type of mechanism is available that adjusts on the base and needs no top knob which lends itself to more variety in shapes. This new type also works for grinding spices. These peppermills can be almost any height, whatever works for your table. The mill shown is from African Wenge, it is 11" tall and sells for $65 .
